The delegation, composed of two outspoken monarchists, visited the area as part of the gubernatorial family's initiative to visit once every year, a family tradition going as far back as AUC 2752 (AD 1999). They were shocked by the damage from the 2021 fire that almost eradicated a large portion of the flora, as well as the historic buildings within the forest. Given the brevity of the period since His Majesty's passing, combined with the grim reminder of the fire, it is needless to say that this day was very emotional for those present, not just the delegates from Græcia. The forest was full of visitors, the vast majority of whom were headed towards the royal graveyard, to also pay their respects. This fact only adds to the gravitas of the number of people who showed up at His Majesty's funeral, which, according to official Græcian sources, is interpreted as "the Hellenic people's will finally emerging from the oppressive, "democratic" forces that have been damaging our once proud nation and country for the past 50 years: the will to reinstate the Hellenic Monarchy, which hails from the House of Palaiologos and is thus undoubtedly 100% legally placed on the Hellenic throne". His Excellency The Governor stated that: "Once again we stand before a silent majority, which was forced to illegally overturn the 1973 referendum, in favour of "democracy" and against the Monarchy. I am proud to be the first micronationalist (and by extent, Græcia being the first micronation) to recognise His Majesty as the sole legal ruler of Hellas - now, it is our duty to continue this decision, by once again reminding everyone that the legal ruler of Hellas is Crown Prince Paul, better known as King Paul II of the Hellenes. May God grant His Majesty and the royal family many years of good health, peace, and a glorious return to the throne". The Governorate of Græcia is the first (and, as it stands, the only) micronation to have visited the grave of His Majesty King Constantine II of the Hellenes. By extent, His Excellency Quintus II De Vitaliis became the first micronationalist to pay his respects to the late King.
Following the visit, His Excellency The Governor wrote a prayer in Old Church Slavonic, for the soul of His Majesty King Constantine II of the Hellenes: Comments are closed.
